Hello!
Can you believe at COPPERFIELD SCHOOL we are embarking on our SECOND YEAR TOGETHER AS A SCHOOL COMMUNITY? Hard to believe!
Welcome to our class blog. When we are not at home, our 'school home' is room 127. In this blog we hope you will find a few things. You may find:
-highlights from our day
-reminders
-thank you "shout outs"
Our BIG QUESTION this year is: What is our footprint? What do you think this means?
I am Mrs. Ross and I teach the students in room 127! I love to teach because I learn so much from everyone at Copperfield School (and the world around me) on a daily basis and you guys never stop amazing me with your creativity, sense of humour and your curiousity! I have many goals. But one goal for me this year is to try something new each day! If you can teach me something new or have a suggestion of of a new thing to try, let me know! Life is about learning, what have you learned today?
I used to play basketball in High School and I still like it, amongst many other fun sports and hobbies. Now I play for fun, with my family in our driveway when we have some free time. One of my favourite players of all time is the legend, Michael Jordan (Chicago Bulls #23). When something is scary or new to me, I often remember something MJ was known for saying:
I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.
