Hi Everyone,
Copperfield’s first annual Read a Thon has been great fun! We have loved having our special guest readers visit us and share their stories. Next week the festivities will continue. On March 12th we will have a special event called, “Wake up and Read”. Please encourage your children to wear their P.J.s on this day. On March 15th we are asking our students to dress up as their favourite book character. We will be taking pictures of the students to put in our Yearbook rather than selling them to raise funds. Please remember, all reading counts! It does not matter whether you are reading to yourself, reading to someone or having someone read to you. Copperfield has heart! Thanks for helping us keep the beat. Pattie Ann Swain Principal, Copperfield School Copperfield is excited to launch our Read-a-Thon! Read to your pets, stuffies, families and yourself! To foster the love of reading and in support of our school development goal of reading comprehension, we have scheduled all sorts of engaging events for our Read-a-thon!
