Mrs. Gelfand, our Assistant Principal will meet with you at 10:30 today (Wednesday, Feb 28th) to go over handshakes, eye contact and positive body language for a successful interview, so you can be calm! Please DO NOT STRESS! We are proud of you for applying and know you will achieve a leadership position of some sort! Keep calm and get a good night's rest! :)
We are beginning our gymnastic unit this week in our regularly scheduled physical education classes. This unit will last until Spring Break. To begin this unit, we review safety procedures with each class. Students in elementary school are not expected to change for physical education. When participating in gymnastics we ask students to be dressed and prepared to participate. We ask you to consider the following:

The students were busy experimenting with fibre optics, bending light rays with mirrors and using spy glasses! There was a buzz of excitement while learning. Wear your Pink Shirt on Wednesday February 28th! Grade 3s will be putting on an assembly to help remind us to be kind and to put an end to bullying! Parents of grade 3/4 choir are welcome to come to the assembly that begins at 8:45 am.To our applicants! Thank you. We are proud that you are trying to achieve a goal. You will likely be interviewed next week by Jordan or Gretta along with a teacher. To prepare for this interview you might want to practice your handshake, ask your family members to rehearse an interview with you. You might want to reflect on your application answers. Think about and practice how you might end an interview. We have invited Mrs. Swain to come and talk to you about taking an interview and she will give you some tips! This will happen early next week. PINK SHIRT DAY (to end bullying) is on Wednesday, February 28th!Please search your closet for a pink shirt to wear that day!
