I have 14 returned, but we are missing 9! Those students won't be able to start Home Reading, until they have a reusable tote bag (if you lost your's search for a suitable bag).Please read my posts from previous days, as there are 8 students still missing their school forms.Read, sing, talk, play, love! Birth to age five is a developmental hot zone. According to the National Centre for Education Statistics (NCES), “Children who are read to at home enjoy a substantial advantage over children who are not.” Becoming literate, and developing a love of reading is a goal we hold for our children. Studies clearly indicate that parental or home involvement is key in reaching this goal. There are many components to developing literacy.
