ScienceToday in science we studied dirt and stuff! We were predicting how long things will take to biodegrade. Some of the stuff was: orange peel, juice box, banana peel, cardboard and chip package. We got our hands dirty by putting layers of dirt and items in a jar. We will wait until Winter Holidays to see if our prediction came true! (written by JD, JH, TH, CU, MI) MathWe learned a new subtraction method - The Magic Hat Trick! Ask me about it!!!! Literacy -We reviewed about making sentences and how we write them: -Capital letter to start -group of words that are a complete thought (subject/noun and predicate/verb that explains the subject) -ends with punctuation For the rest of November, we have a library day and day to exchange home reading too!Mondays - Emma, Chase, Jediah, Wyatt, Aydin Tuesdays - Jahswill, Drew, Muhammad, Brooklyn, Tanner Wednesdays - Kashton, Matt, Simrat, Ryland, Zoie Thursdays - Austin, Clyde, Shaelyn, Chaniru Fridays - Jeremy, Corbin, Mckenzie, Joaquin Auditions for the Winter Concert Happened!
