It is so nice to see more students walking or riding to school. Remember to walk your 'vehicle' (aka scooter, rollerblades, Heelies, bike) once on school property and don't forget to protect your brain by wearing a helmet! I am so happy to see many people using people power to get to school on a regular basis! I know not everyone lives close enough to walk though (me included). Please remember our class expectations to respect ourselves, this place and each other! We continue to have Community Circles to work out issues within the class. Just yesterday, we worked hard to solve our imaginative play 'road block' and came up with big ideas like democracy (voting), a council, healthy competing businesses too! This is real world conflict solving and I am very proud of our collective efforts. Students reminded each other, to treat each other as we would want to be treated....The Golden Rule! We are almost done building our re-purposed cardboard arcade! We may need some prizes (gently used toys or stuffies, stickers) if you have any laying around at home. Jordan and Gretta from BMO will be here to help us out in the afternoon! Thanks for all of your applications! They were so well done, I am having a tough time deciding on 'jobs'. Luckily they are all equally important in running a class business that will make the most profit for the ACH!Planting our Earth Box! We will plant in the morning, so be ready! We still need volunteers for Bar U Ranch on May 15th and 16th (we need one more each day). This is full day and will be amazing to learn about life in the region historically and how it functions today too! Please let Mrs. Ross know if you can attend! [email protected]Comments are closed.
